Linda Jean Horstmann, 54, of Marthasville, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Emmaus Home, Marthasville.

Linda was born in Washington, Missouri on March 10, 1961, a daughter of the late Elmer H. & Dorothy J. (Gatzemeyer) Horstmann.

Linda was a member of St. Paul Church, Berger.   She enjoyed listening to country music, especially Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn.  She also enjoyed dancing and going  out to eat, especially to McDonald's and Steak & Shake and she liked strawberry pop tarts and pancakes.  Her favorite color was red and she loved stuffed animals.

Linda is survived by two brothers, Norbert Horstmann & wife Susie, of Berger, Missouri, and Ronald Horstmann & wife Bonnie, of Hermann, Missouri, by two sisters, Donna Scheidegger  & husband Gary, of Hermann, Missouri and Mary Buschmeyer & husband David, of Washington, Missouri, by an aunt Dorothy Horstmann of Hermann and an uncle Marvin Horstmann of New Haven and by many niece, nephews, and great niece & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, February 15th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Church, Berger, Missouri, with Father John Deken officiating.

Burial will be at St. Paul's Cemetery, Berger, Missouri. Memorials may be given to Emmaus Home, St. Paul's Cemetery or St. James Cemetery, Stony Hill.   C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
