Myrna L. Krattli

Myrna  L.  Krattli, 70, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 in her home surrounded by her closest loved ones.
 
Mrs. Krattli was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 13, 1944. She was the daughter of the late James B. and Alice Rosella (Shellhammer) Leeper.
 
She was the wife of Herbert Krattli, Jr. They were married March 24, 1972 in Gasconade, Missouri. Herb survives on their family farm in the New Haven area.
 
Myrna is also survived by her sons, Kent Strobel and wife, Brenda, of Berger, Missouri and Herb Krattli III and wife, Priscilla, of New Haven, Missouri; two sisters, Jevotta Fulgham and husband George, of Kansas City, Kansas, Mary Leeper of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, Greg Leeper and wife Mary, Bob Leeper and wife Sharon, all from Hermann, Missouri, Darrell Leeper and wife Theresa, of Fulton, Missouri, and by a sister-in-law, Carolyn Leeper of Portland, Missouri; grandchildren, Ashley Halker, Jamie, Danielle, Cody, Rebekah, and Kevin Tyler Strobel, Chelsea and Hannah Krattli, George C. Krattli II, Rebecca Helms, Benjamin, Nathan and Rachael Hutchens, and by four great grandchildren, Braxton, Michael, Everett, and Annabelle. Myrna is preceded in death by her parents, son, Kevin B. Strobel, sister, Bonnie Wehmeyer, and brother, James Leeper.

Myrna began her career in the medical field at age 16, and fulfilled her dreams of becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse, at the age of 21. She has worked in various nursing homes, hospitals, and home health agencies in Franklin, Gasconade, and Warren counties. She retired from St. John's Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri, after 22 years of dedicated service.
 
Myrna was a member of New Beginnings Worship Center in New Haven, Missouri. She loved spending time with her beloved husband, family, and grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to church, shopping, reading, and cooking.
 
Visitation will be held Monday, November 3rd, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, in New Haven, Missouri, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 4th, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Steve Sullivan officiating.
 
Burial will be at New Haven Cemetery.
 
Memorials may be given to New Beginning Worship Center in New Haven or the Myrna Krattli Nursing Scholarship.  C/O Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home.
