We are sorry Lawrence lost his long battle with cancer, but we know he is now enjoying life eternal. In spite of his illness, he was always smiling, and upbeat. The world could use lots more people like him, but we know he was truly a one of a kind, special Christian who let his light shine. Ebenezer Church at Port Hudson will not be the same without Lawrence there to greet. Sincerely, Ken and Betty

The news of Lawrence ' s passing breaks our heart. My husband, Ben, grew up in our house next door to the Pelster farm. He has such fond memories of him. Lawrence was up and going before the sun on most days, up until just last week. He ALWAYS had that adorable mischievous grin as he waved to us each day. He ALWAYS stopped to say hi to our son, Eli. He was a BRIGHT light in this often dark world. Life in Bucklick will not be the same without our 'Lollie' driving by and smiling. Peace be with you Lawrence. Much love, The Roys
