Darlene Mae Berkemeyer, 70, of  Owensville, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Frene Valley Health Care South in Owensville.

Mrs. Berkemeyer was born in Eldorado,  Arkansas on June 28, 1944,  the daughter of the late Paul and Pauline (Eby) Johnston.

She was the wife of Loren G. Berkemeyer, who preceded her in death on June 11, 2014. They were married on February 9, 1979.

Darlene is survived by two sons Larry Dean Lamb, Jr. & fiance Lisa of Columbia, South Carolina, and Byron Lamb & wife Jana of Wasilla, Alaska,  two step-daughters Beatrice LaPlante & Husband Donald of Arnold, and Sandra Keilholz & husband David of Chamois, a step-son Kenneth Berkemeyer & wife Kellie of Morrison, two sisters Florene VanDonge of Walla Walla, Washington, and Marlene Wilson & husband Darrell of Hermann, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant son Jerry Dwayne Lamb and a brother Herman Johnston

She was a life long member of Salem Hope Presbyterian Church.  Most of her working career she was a teachers aide for middle school children. She was also known as a artist.

Visitation will be Saturday 1:00 to 3:00 at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Paul Wilson officiating.

Burial will be in the Salem Hope Presbyterian Cemetery, Hope, Missouri.
