Wilhelmena "Willie" E. Ridder, 87, of Kimberling City, MO, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 at her home in Kimberling City, Missouri.
Willie was born in Big Spring, Missouri on June 9, 1935, the daughter of the late Fred W. Jr. & Ida B. (Grotewiel) Grosse.
She was the widow of Lester "Les" W. Ridder. They were united in marriage on March 16, 1957, at Montgomery City, Missouri. Les preceded her in death on December 8, 2011.
Willie was a member of Kimberling City United Methodist Church, Kimberling City, MO. She worked as a bank teller in Montgomery City, Mo for over 30 years for Mercantile Bank.
Willie is survived by two sons, Elmer Ridder & wife Robyn of Ballwin, MO; and Todd Ridder & wife Connie, of Columbia, MO; by three grandchildren, Rusty Ridder and wife Amy of Holts Summit, MO; Danielle Glesne & husband Jared of Manchester, MO; and Kelsey Gutesa & husband Ivan, of Wildwood, MO; by three step-grandchildren, Elly Bethune & husband Clay, of Columbia, MO; Wendy Swetz, of Columbia, MO and Amy Crockett & husband Chris, of Boise, ID, by eight great-grandchildren, Karli, Hanna, Grace, Layla, Graham, Carter, Jackson & Thea, by three step great-grandchildren, Chase, Blake and Todd. She is also survived by a brother, Freddie Grosse & wife Suzanne, of Big Spring, Missouri; a sister, Brenda Eldringhoff & husband Gene, of Montgomery City, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Barbara Grosse, of Hermann, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Russell Ray Ridder, a sister, Goldie Ham and her husband Pat and a brother, Landon Grosse.
Visitation was held Friday, May 5, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, MO where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.
**A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Kimberling City United Methodist Church, Kimberling City, MO.**
Interment will be in the Montgomery City Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Montgomery City Cemetery or the Kimberling City United Methodist Church.
