Vivian E. (Bonyay) Abbott

Vivian E. Abbott, 92, of Hermann, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at StoneBridge Hermann.

Vivian was born in Cuba, Missouri on June 20, 1928, the daughter of the late John H. & Margaret M. (Riehemann) Bonyay.

Vivian was united in marriage to LeRoy L. Abbott on July 27, 1951 at New Haven, Missouri.   LeRoy preceded her in death on February 22, 2000.

Vivian worked for the shoe factory in Hermann for 47 years until retirement.  In her free time she enjoyed sewing and cooking.

Vivian is survived by a son, John "Moose" Abbott & wife Shelley, of Hermann, Missouri; two daughters, Judith Sly, of Washington, Missouri; and Lori Abbott, of Hermann, Missouri; a granddaughter, Angel Taravez & husband Miguel, of South Carolina, two grandsons, Micheal Abbott, of Hermann, and Ryan Chancellor, of New Jersey, a great granddaughter, Alyssa Anstey & husband Calvin, of South Carolina and a great-great granddaughter, Bella Anstey.  She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Robert & David Abbott and a granddaughter, Monique Parker.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 9th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
