Virginia Crabtree Obituary


Virginia Fay Crabtree, 91, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away Saturday October 19, 2024 at Stonebridge Senior Living, Hermann. 

Virginia was born in Licking, Missouri, on August 11, 1933 the daughter of the late Clyde & Tenie (James) Holden.

She was the widow of Dale A. Crabtree.  They were married in May of 1950 in Licking, Missouri.  Dale preceded her in death on January 14, 2000.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Hartmann of Blytheville, Arkansas, three sons, Howard Crabtree, Bill Crabtee, & Mike Crabtree & wife Gina, all of Hermann, a daughter, Donna Diebal & partner Donnie Schroeder of Bellflower, Missouri, a daughter, Wanda Moll & husband Steve Rodgers of Montgomery City, Missouri, 23 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, & several great-great grandchildren.  

Virginia was preceded in death by her father, mother,  daughter's, Susan Branson, & Brenda Crabtree, a son Jim Crabtree, a brother, Thurmon Holden, a sister, Emigine Garrison, and three grandchildren, Sara & Dawn Branson, & Tammy Hartmann.

Prior to retirement she worked at Florsheim Shoe Factory for several years. She dearly loved her family and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 24th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. 

Burial will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann. Memorial donations my be given to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
