Thomas Lewis Glass, III

Thomas Lewis Glass III, was born July 8, 1992, to Thomas Lewis Glass Jr. and Nina Rachelle Weatherspoon in Kirkwood, Missouri. He departed this life on Saturday September 18, 2021, in Berger, Missouri. 

Thomas was educated in Pacific, Missouri, attending Pacific High School, class of 2010. At an early age, accepted Jesus Christ at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Villa Ridge, Missouri. 

Much like his father Thomas Glass Jr (Tommy), Thomas was gifted in singing, and granted his voice to the praise & worship team of Good Hope Church. On or off the fields and court, Thomas exemplified commitment as his role of a son and brother, hard working while quite casually vocalizing his mastery of being hilarious. Every person whose paths crossed Thomas was touched in such a way that could only be called a blessing. As his mother said, “Thomas was just Thomas, he loved his sports and all he ever did in ministry was SING!” 

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lewis Glass Jr., his grandmother, Mildred Sydney Turner, and his grandfather, Thomas Lewis Glass, Sr.  

Thomas is survived by his mother Nina Weatherspoon-Adams and step-father Kenneth Tyron Adams (Berger, Missouri); his brothers Brandon Glass (Portage, Indiana), Evan Adams (Springfield, Missouri) and Ethan Adams (Berger, Missouri). He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Charlotte JoAnn Cawley (Nelvin), of Robertsville; God parents, Pastor Billy Brison and Murial Brison (Hermann, Missouri), Mitzi Hulsey-Glass (Anderson, Missouri); nine aunts and uncles; and several close cousins.

Thomas was always there to provide joy and laughter to his friends and family. Through numerous health challenges Thomas persevered and never complained. His joy was infectious and he will be deeply missed by all those his life touched. He was loved.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 28th at 1:00 p.m. at Life Stream Church, Washington, Missouri, with Pastor Billy Brison officiating.
