Theresa Ann (Hurst) Dietz

Theresa Ann Dietz, 78, of Hermann, MO, passed away suddenly Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at her home.

Theresa was born in Hermann, Missouri on August 22, 1947, the daughter of the late Andrew J. & Martha M. (Webber) Hurst.

Theresa was raised Catholic and went to St. George School in Hermann.

She worked for the City of Hermann as a purchasing clerk for 27 years, until her retirement.   In her free time she enjoyed flower gardening, painting and crocheting, and she loved her animals.

Theresa is survived by a son, Andrew Dietz & wife Wendy, of Hermann, Missouri; two sisters, Carolyn Hurst, of Hermann, Missouri; and Virginia Wolf, of Morrison, Missouri and two grandchildren, Alissa Dietz, of Jefferson City, Missouri; and Jacob Dietz, of Owensville, Missouri.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Herbert & David Hurst.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations may be given to Ferals in Peril.
