Thelma Caroline (Latall) Puchta

Thelma Caroline Puchta, age 94, of Sunset Hills Mo. , passed away Sunday October 23rd, 2022, at Mercy Hospital South.  

She was born in St. Louis, Mo. on April 29, 1928 a daughter of the late Frank and Sabina (Rohlfing) Latall.

Thelma is survived by two children a son Charles & wife Barb Puchta, of Longboat Key, Florida, a daughter Jeanine and husband Kirk Wolf of St. Charles, A sister Erna Latall Given of St. Charles, Sister in-law Pat Puchta of Birmingham, Alabama. Grandchildren Amy & husband Pete Reichert, Stacy & husband Travis Mausser, Tracy & husband Mike Maury, Kelly & husband Andy Pak, Sean Puchta & husband Logan Harris, Adam & wife Lexi Wolf, Garrett & wife Katlin Wolf,  Rachael Wolf &  10 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, one son Mark Puchta  & his wife Linda, sister Doris & husband Arthur Gaebler.

The most important part of Thelma's life was her husband and children. She was an avid bridge player and loved studying her family ancestry.  Later in life, she enjoyed spending time at the family farm and she wrote a book about her life. 

Visitation will be held Thursday October 27th, 2022 at the Toedtmann & Grosse funeral home in Hermann from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., where services will be held at 3:00 p.m.

Burial will be in the Oak Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family request memorials to the Gasconade County Historical  Society C/O the funeral home.
