Thelma R. Kattelmann, 92, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at StoneBridge Hermann.
Thelma was born in Big Spring, Missouri on February 22, 1930, the daughter of the late Frank C. & Clara E. (Anderson) Hauser.
She was united in marriage to Benjamin R. Kattelmann on May 5, 1951, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann. Ben preceded her in death on March 31, 2020.
Thelma was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann, Missouri, where she was a member of the church choir.
She worked at Williams U-Save Mart, where she was the store manager. She also worked at several of the local wineries as a sales clerk. In her free time Thelma enjoyed dancing, taking trips, gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by a daughter, Lois Mochel & husband Rodney, of Hermann; a son, Bryan Kattelmann & wife Lisa, of Gainsville, Georgia; three grandchildren, Dawn Harris & husband Myron, of Hermann; Christy Voelkerding & husband Jared, of Gainsville, Georgia, and Alan Kattelmann & wife Rachel, of Dawsonville, Georgia; by 4 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and by two sisters-in-law, Carol Uthlaut & husband Ralph Jr., of Big Spring, Missouri; and Melba Hauser, of Hermann.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by brothers, Leo, Walter and Frank Jr. Hauser, and sisters, Vaureen "Mickey" Heldt and Lorena Uthlaut.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 25th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at St. James Cemetery, Big Spring. Memorials may be given to St. Paul U.C.C. or St. James Cemetery.
