Sharon R. (Meyer) Lias

Sharon R. Lias, 73, of New Haven, MO, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri. 

Sharon was born in Washington, Missouri on March 7, 1950, the daughter of the late Walter H. & Norma L. (Riechers) Meyer.

She was the widow of James R. Lias.  They were united in marriage on January 7, 1995 in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Sharon worked as a clerk for J.C. Penney in Arizona and also at a Love's Travel Stop. 

Sharon is survived by two sisters, Ruth Wiemann and JoAnn Hasty, both of New Haven, Missouri; a brother, W. Ray Meyer, of St. Clair, Missouri; and many nieces & nephews.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters, Frances Vollertsen and Jeanette Ray.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where funeral services will follow at 7:0 p.m.

Memorials may be given to New Haven Care Center.
