Sandra S. (Edler) Pilger

Sandra S. Pilger, 75, of Bland, MO, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, Creve Coeur,  Missouri. 

Sandra was born in Morrison, Missouri on October 6, 1947, the daughter of the late Raymond & Alberta (Hackmann) Edler.

She was united in marriage to Dale E. Pilger on April 16, 1966, in Owensville, Missouri.  Dale preceded her in death on April 13, 2004.

Sandra was a very active member of Bland Christian Church, Bland, Missouri. She worked at Langenburg Hat Factory and later for New Haven Care Center as a C.N.A. 

Sandra is survived by two sons, Roy Pilger & wife Tina, of Imperial, Missouri; and James Pilger & significant other Kelly, of Hermann, Missouri; a sister, Carolyn Gonzales & husband Ernie, of Willis, Texas; a sister, Linda Trotsell, of Belle, Missouri; a brother, Raymond Edler, of Union, Missouri; a sister, Debbie Dever & husband Larry, of Berger, Missouri; a sister, Brenda Scego & husband Leon, of Owensville, Missouri; a sister, Cheryl Gale, of Hermann, Missouri; a brother, Danny Edler & wife Mary Lou, of Sullivan, Missouri, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
 
Visitation will be held Monday, September 11th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m.

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to Bland Christian Church.
