Ruth Anna Dieckhaus Obituary

Ruth Anna Frances Dieckhaus, 85, of Washington, MO, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri. 

Ruth Anna was born in Berger, Missouri on September 29, 1937, a daughter of the late Frank & Anna (Meyer) Gratza.

She was united in marriage to John  P. Dieckhaus on October 17, 1959 at St. Paul Church, Berger, Missouri.  John preceded her in death on April 16, 2018. 

Ruth Anna was a member of Assumption Church, New Haven and of St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington.  She enjoyed traveling, sewing and her prayer circle.

Ruth Anna is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo Stolte & husband Orville, of Beaufort, Missouri; a son, Jeffrey T.  Dieckhaus, of New Haven, MO; five grandchildren, Jeffrey P. Dieckhaus, Brittany Dieckhaus, Karissa Dieckhaus, Rachel Smith and Amanda Stolte and eight great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a granddaughter, Sandra Stolte.
 
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 20th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

A funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Church, New Haven, with Father John Deken officiating. 

Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery.  Family request donations to masses at Assumption Church.  

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
