Ruth E. (Moeckli) Bickmeyer

Ruth Elisabeth Bickmeyer, age 95, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away at StoneBridge Senior Living in Hermann on Saturday, December 9, 2023.

She was born on April 22,1928, the daughter of the late William and Mabel (Maupin) Moeckli and grew up in the Stony Hill area.

She was united in marriage to Bernell H. Bickmeyer on April 4,1948. They spent most of their married life farming in the Stolpe area.  Bernell preceded her in death on December 4, 2015. 

Ruth was a very faithful member of the St. Johns United Church of Christ at Stolpe. She was also a member of the Hermann Hospital Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.

Ruth is survived by a son, Dennis Bickmeyer & wife Cindy, of Hermann, Missouri; two daughters, Sandra Micke, of St. Charles, Missouri and Barbara Magrew & husband Scott, of St. Charles, Missouri; a sister, June Faerber, of Hermann, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Christa (Steve) Aberle; Heather (Jason) Pierson, Mary (Robbie) Broeker, Kim (Julie) Micke, Michelle (Jared) Ray, Ryan Magrew and Erin (Jay) Hammel, 19 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernell, brother Lloyd and sister Shirley.
She was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 14th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Johns United Church of Christ, Stolpe, with Pastor Darrel Deeker officiating.

Burial will be at St. Johns Cemetery, Stolpe.  Memorials may be given to the cemetery or St. Johns UCC Steeple Fund.
