Obituary

Ronald K. Willimann, 84, of New Haven, MO, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri. 

Ronald was born in Hermann, Missouri on January 12, 1939, the son of the late Walter S. & Dorothy (Schowe) Willimann.

He was united in marriage to Mary Lou "Mert" McDonald on May 8, 1959, at Assumption Church, New Haven. Mary Lou preceded him in death on December 18, 2010.

Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Marines.  He was a member of Assumption Church, New Haven.

When discharged from the Marines, he worked at the Machine Shop in downtown New Haven.   After leaving, Ron and Mary Lou operated Willimann’s Department Store in downtown New Haven.  He later became a painter and went on to own Willimann & Sons Painting.  Ron & Mary Lou also owned Willimann’s G.M.C. Apartments in New Haven.
  
Ronald is survived by three sons, Gary Willimann & wife Theresa, of New Haven, Missouri; Mark Willimann, of New Haven, Missouri and Craig Willimann & wife Sheri, of New Haven, Missouri; two sisters, Fay Scheible, of Berger, Missouri; and Fern Wray & husband Kenny, of Rhineland, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Ann Willimann, of Quincy, Illinois; a brother-in-law, Joseph Hauser, of Berger, Missouri; a grandson, Jordan Willimann, of New Haven; five granddaughters, Casey Rives, Britany Willimann, Taylor Obermark, Nicole Pelster and Blake Willimann, all of New Haven, and by six great grandchildren, Nolan, Conor and Dawson Pelster, Henry Obermark and Brendan and Lana Rives.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Lou Willimann, two brothers, Eugene and Walter Willimann, a sister, Joyce Hauser, a brother-in-law, Larry Scheible and a sister-in-law, Dorris Willimann.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 21st from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven. 

A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Church, New Haven, with Father John Deken officiating. 

Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to New Haven Care Center or New Haven Senior Center.
