Ronald W. Traub

Ronald W. Traub, 75, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. 

Ron was born in Washington, Missouri on December 2, 1947, the son of the late William & Evelyn (Kottmeyer) Traub.

He was the husband of Debbie (Zimmer) Traub.  They were united in marriage on August 2, 1975, at Jefferson City, Missouri. 

Ron was a member of St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill, Missouri.  He worked for the Chrysler Corporation at the Fenton Assembly Plant for 34 years. 

In his free time Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, gardening, making wine and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his wife, Debbie Traub, of Hermann, Missouri; four sons, Robert Traub & wife Michelle, of Hermann, Missouri; Christoph Traub & wife Lindsey, of Hermann, Missouri; Nicholas Traub & wife Lane, of Smithville, Missouri; and David Traub & wife Mandy, of Rolla, Missouri; by his grandchildren, Katelyn, Cole, Brady, Jett, Levi, Bo, Judson, Will, Jesse, Nolan, Luke, Cooper and Georgia and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Shirley Lottmann, Joyce Rasmussen and Norma Rohlfing.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 18th from 2:30 to 6:30  p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill, Missouri, with Rev. Tom Lloyd officiating. 

Burial will be at St. James Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. James Evangelical Church.
