Ronald James Oetterer

Ronald James Oetterer, 73, of New Haven, MO, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri.

Ronald was born in Berger, Missouri on December 14, 1947, the son of the late Harry Clarence Oetterer & Leona Ella (Budnik) Rogers.

He was the husband of Janice (Birkman) Oetterer.  They were united in marriage on October 6, 1973, at St. Peters United Church of Christ, New Haven. 

Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven, Missouri, and was a volunteer fireman.  He was known to have numerous jobs but mostly known for working at local lumber yards.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Janice Oetterer, of the home; two daughters, Valerie Yatzeck & husband Kevin, of Washington, Missouri; and Vicki Jacquin & husband Mark, of Marthasville, Missouri; a son, David  Oetterer & wife Misty, of New Haven, Missouri; a sister, Betty Pruessner, of New Haven, Missouri; three brothers, Larry Oetterer, of Berger, Missouri; Kenny Oetterer, of Pacific, Missouri; and Dennis Oetterer, by six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, his step father, Lee (Junior) Rogers, two brothers, Donald Oetterer and Bob Montcalm and a sister Nadine Koeller.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. David Poe officiating.
