Ronald Gene Kamper

Ronald Gene Kamper, 85, of Hermann, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at StoneBridge in Hermann, 

Ronald was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 19, 1937, the son of the late Fred & Hazel (Ohnewald) Kamper.

Ronald was a member of Big Spring United Methodist Church,  Big Spring, Missouri.  He worked for 39 years as a telephone technician. 

He was the husband of Joyce (Hauser) Kamper.  They were united in marriage on August 22, 1959, at Big Spring United Methodist Church, Big Spring, MO. 

Ronald is survived by his wife, Joyce Kamper, of Hermann, Missouri; a daughter, Neva Christian & husband David, of Columbia, Missouri; a son, Ronald Kamper, Jr., of Bunston, Missouri; a brother, Ken Kamper & wife Bernice, of Bay, Missouri; four grandchildren, Beth Chapman & husband Rob, Leah Christian, Tanner Christian & wife McCall and Mackenzie McLeese & husband Will and by one great grandchild, Blair Christian.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Fred Kamper & his wife Nancy.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 18th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be at Big Spring Cemetery, Big Spring, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to Big Spring Cemetery or Montgomery County Historical Society.
