Ronald Ray Goodwin

Ronald  Ray " Ron" Goodwin, 65, of Hermann, MO, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at his residence.  

Ron was born in Washington, Missouri on October 28, 1956, the son of the late Wilburn Martin & Flora  Martha (Poertner) Goodwin. 

Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. 

He was the husband of Denise (Baecker) Goodwin. They were married on  March 26, 1999,  in Hermann, Missouri. 

Ron enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, cooking and grilling for his family and making and drinking homemade wine. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Ron was especially proud to help with the  local "Jake's Day Event"  to benefit young hunters and teach them the beauty of the outdoors.
 
Ron is survived by his wife, Denise, by two daughters, Shauna Goodwin and significant other Patrick Heady, of Washington; and Kaleena Pittman and husband Daniel, of New Haven; by two sons, John Klepper and wife Bernita, of Hermann and Dalton Klepper of the home, by his grandchildren, Kaiden, Kolden, and Kinleigh Pittman, Guy, Hailey, Mason and Amya Klepper, by a sister, Anna Hurst and husband Dave, of St. Clair, a brother, Mark Goodwin, of Villa Ridge and a brother-in-law, Douglas Baecker, of Hermann.

He is preceded in death by his parents, by two  sisters Diana "Dee" Walker, and Jackie Lehr and her husband Jim Lehr.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, March 11, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral  Home, Hermann, with a memorial service following at 7:00 p.m.
