Robert "Ernie" Brown, Jr., 69, of New Haven, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri.
Ernie was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 26, 1956, the son of the late Robert E. Sr. & Vera Mae (House) Brown.
He was the widower of Karen (Edler) Brown. They were united in marriage on May 24, 1980, at St. Peter's U.C.C., New Haven. Karen preceded him in death on August 7, 1985.
Ernie was a welder for WEG Manufacturing in Washington.
He is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Smith, of Knoxville, Tennessee; Jessica Dinges, of LaCenter, Kentucky; and Meghan Georges, of Jeddah, Suadi Arabia a son, Robert E. Brown III, of New Haven, Missouri, by two sisters, one brother, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a grandson, Clayton Brown Dinges.
No services will be held at this time. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Haven. Memorial donations may be given to the cemetery.
His family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the remarkable network of caregivers, neighbors, and friends who supported Ernie in his daily life. Though he could be a difficult man at times, your patience, kindness, and unwavering commitment never faltered. Each of you found your own way to help him—with grace, humor, and resilience—and for that, we are eternally grateful. Your compassion made a profound difference in his life and in ours.
