Raymond "Marty" M. Veltrop

Raymond M. "Marty" Veltrop, 72, of Hermann, MO, passed away suddenly at his home Monday, January 26, 2026.

Raymond was born in Folk, Missouri on September 23, 1953, the son of the late Raymond M. & Bernadine  J. (Lepper) Veltrop.

He was the husband of Sheryll D. (Brinson) Veltrop, who survives at the home.

He is also survived by two daughters, Janet Veltrop, of Holts Summit, Missouri; and Jessica Harris & husband Brian, of Gerald, Missouri; a brother, Gerry Veltrop, of Tebbets, Missouri; a sister, Mary Steck & husband Mike, of Holts Summit, Missouri; and nine grandchildren, Michelle, Erica, Nicole, Heaven, Jacob, Joseph, Dalton, Dustin and Summer.  

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son Raymond Veltrop.

Raymond was the former owner & operator of Raymond Veltrop Construction.  He was currently working as a maintenance man for MS Management in Beaufort, Missouri. 

Raymond enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating, being on the river and drinking a cold beer and spending time with his family & friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 3rd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. 

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
