Raymond J. Parmentier, 83, of Beaufort, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri.
Raymond was born in Washington, Missouri on February 22, 1939, the son of the late Edward & Agnes Cecelia (Arand) Parmentier.
He was united in marriage to Margaret Mary Luechtefeld on January 11, 1958, in Union, Missouri. Margaret preceded him in death on January 23, 2004.
Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1955-1959. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Hudson, Missouri and the Knights of Columbus.
Raymond worked for Sporlan Valve in Washington as a machinist for 45 years. He was an avid hunter and gunman and he loved to play golf and watch the hummingbirds.
Raymond is survived by a daughter, Rene Marquart & husband Don, of Washington, Missouri; a son, Brian Edward Parmentier & wife Karen, of Beaufort, Missouri; a son, Kevin Ray Parmentier & wife Cindy, of Beaufort, Missouri; a daughter, Julie Hidritch & husband Mark, of Washington, Missouri, a son, Jason Parmentier & wife Michelle, of Chesterfield, Missouri; by 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Agnes Parmentier, his wife, Margaret Parmentier, a brother, Buddy Parmentier and two sisters, Rose Mary Straatmann and Marcella Haney.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 5th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
A memorial mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Hudson, Missouri.
Interment will be at Holy Family Cemetery, with full military honors. Memorials may be given to Susan G. Komen Fund.
