Peter A. DiStasio

Peter A. DiStasio, 93, of Gasconade, MO, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Hermann Area District Hospital, Hermann, Missouri.
 
Peter  was born in New Haven, Connecticut,  on August 20, 1932, a son of the late Louis A. & Bertha (Mallegni) DiStasio.
 
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955 and then worked as a police officer and a detective in Wallingford, Connecticut for 25 years.
 
He was the widower of Patricia (McDowell) DiStasio.  They were married for 47 years.

Peter is survived by two daughters, Paula Krull, of New Haven, Missouri; and Renae DiStasio, of Vernon, Connecticut; his brother, Conrad Bianchi, of Southington, Connecticut, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert and Jack. 
 
Mr. DiStasio was cremated and no services are being held at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Hermann Crusade Against Cancer.
