Peggy J. (Reimund) McGinnis

Peggy J. McGinnis, 67, of New Haven, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her home. 

Peggy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 5, 1954, the daughter of the late William & Arline (Kline) Reimund.

She was the wife of Gary L. McGinnis.  They were united in marriage on June 30, 1973, in Jefferson City, Missouri. 

Peggy was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ New Haven, Missouri. She worked as a secretary for the Washington, Missouri Police Department for over 25 years. 

Peggy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going on motorcycle road trips and traveling.  She also enjoyed cooking for her family, especially during the holidays.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Gary McGinnis, of New Haven; three daughters, Kelly Clark & husband Matt, of New Haven; Jennifer Borcherding & husband Dale, of New Haven; and Maureen LaBruyere & husband Stephen, of New Haven; by seven grandchildren, Lydia, Alayna, Hannah, Nicholas, Julia, Arianna and Micah and by several brothers and sisters.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 21st from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven , where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Paul Schwartzkopf officiating. 

Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery,  New Haven, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.   C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
