Paulette D. (Smith) Pohlmann

Paulette D. Pohlmann, 69, of Hermann, MO, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at Mercy Heart Hospital, Creve Coeur, Missouri. 

Paulette was born in Jefferson City, Missouri on August 31, 1948, a daughter of the late Paul & Emily "Mutzie" (Ruediger) Smith.

She was the wife of James Pohlmann.  They were united in marriage on August 6, 1966 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann. James survives at the home.

Paulette is also survived by their three children, son, Brian Pohlmann & wife Lela, of Hermann; daughter, Rebecca Throneberry & husband Heath, of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and son, Joshua Pohlmann & wife Megan, of Bay, Missouri; by a brother, Robert Smith & wife Barbara, of Chaffee, Missouri; by a sister, Kay Smith, of Fulton, Missouri; and by seven grandchildren, Olivia, Eryn, Brendan, Joseph, Caleb, Benjamin, and Miriam.  She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, John Smith, and two sisters, June Reinholz and Joan Cadorette.

Paulette worked for both Adam Puchta and Stone Hill Wineries as a sales manager.   In her free time she enjoyed reading, working in her flower garden, but she especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and also cooking for them.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 19th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann. 

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Zion-St. Paul United Church of Christ, Bay, Missouri, with Pastor Darrel Deeker officiating. 

Burial will be at St. Paul's Cemetery Bay, Missouri.
