Norma J. (Gerloff) Eggert

Norma J. Eggert, 89, of Berger, MO, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. 

Norma was born in McKittrick, Missouri on December 1, 1935, the daughter of the late Arthur Sr. & Leona (Nixon) Gerloff.

She was the widow of Harry A. Eggert.   They were united in marriage on October 29, 1960, in McKittrick, Missouri.   Harry preceded her in death on September 24, 2002.

Norma was a member of Hermann United Methodist Church, in Hermann.  She was a former member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Berger, where she played the organ for many years.

Norma was a homemaker.  In her free time she enjoyed doing embroidery, quilting and crocheting.

She is survived by a daughter, Trudy Armstrong, of Hermann, Missouri; a brother, Kenneth Gerloff, of Hermann, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Justin William Armstrong, of Hermann and Sarah Collias & husband Kirk, of St. Charles, Missouri.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son-in-law, Bill Armstrong, a brother Arthur Gerloff Jr., and her twin sister, Shirley Mae.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 24th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery, Berger, Missouri.   Memorials may be given to St. John's Cemetery.
