Nellie Christine Romaker, 82, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia, Missouri.
Nellie was born in Linn, Missouri on December 22, 1938, the daughter of the late George Sr. & Selma (Huebner) Ball.
She was the widow of Harold Dean "Dinger" Romaker. They were united in marriage on January 7, 1957, at Montgomery City, Missouri. Dinger preceded her in death on November 30, 2010.
Nellie was a waitress for several years and also worked as an assembly line worker for Gencorp in New Haven for many years. Nellie had a love for music, she played many different instruments and she enjoyed listening to music as well.
Nellie is survived by a sister, Selma Humburg, of Hermann, Missouri; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Ball, of McKittrick, Missouri, and many niece, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by sisters, Dorothy Callender and Mildred Antweiler and by her brothers, George Ball, Jr., Raymond, Henry, Luther, Richard and Harrison Barbarick.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 8th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.
Private graveside services will follow at St. James Cemetery, Big Spring, Missouri.
