Nadene C. Branson, 86, of New Haven, MO, died Monday, September 20, 2021 at her residence in New Haven.
She was born in Perryville, MO, on March 15, 1935, the daughter of the late Hazel (Favier) and Trumer Duvall.
Nadene was a member of Assumption Church in New Haven.
She worked at Hawthorn years ago which later became American Recreation. There she trained people as a sewing machine operator. After retirement she worked at Wal-Mart in the fabric department.
Nadene's greatest joys were her love for flowers and sewing. Most importantly it was time spent with her family going for a Sunday drive, family meals, marching band festivals, concerts, sporting events, graduation, or just spending time listening to stories. Nadene leaves a legacy of laughter, creativity, and strength.
Nadene is survived two sons, Jim Buchheit Jr. & wife Donna of Hermann, Frank Buchheit & wife Margaret of New Haven, two daughters, Peggy Obermark of Washington & Kathleen Narup & husband Ed of Union, a sister, Judy Ponder & husband Ed of Perryville, 11 Grandchildren & 25 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Melvin, Richard, William, & Clarence Duvall, & two sisters Mary Lou Zoellner & Glenda Duvall, & one son-in-law Joseph Obermark III.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in New Haven. Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption in New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery.
