Mitchell D. McAlister

Mitchell D. McAlister, 67, of Morrison, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at his home.

Mitchell was born in Brookfield, Missouri on January 3, 1956, the son of the late John & Shirley (Hines) McAlister.

He was the husband of Donna S. (Horn) McAlister.  They were married on March 17, 1998, in Hermann, Missouri. 

Mitchell has worked numerous jobs over the years.  He worked for New Florence Wood Products, Pretium Packaging in Hermann and most recently he worked at a dairy farm in Myrtle, Missouri.  In his free time he enjoyed going hunting & fishing.

Mitchell is survived by his wife, Donna McAlister, of Morrison, Missouri; a daughter, Stormy McAlister, of Breeze, Illinois; a daughter, Jennifer McAlister, of Breeze, Illinois; a son, Cheyenne McAlister, of Thayer, Missouri; a son, Daniel McAlister, of Waynesville, Missouri; a daughter, Dusty McAlister, of Sedalia, Missouri; a daughter, Caitlyn McAlister, of Holts Summit, Missouri; a step daughter, Natasha Rogers, of New Haven, Missouri; numerous grandchildren, two sisters, Debbie Ellis, of Marshall, Missouri; and Cindy Pink & husband Dennis, of Carrollton, Missouri; and a brother, Marty McAlister & wife Kimi, of Carrollton, Missouri. 
 
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Monica Banks and Donita Rodden.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
