Michael Lynn Blackwell, 59, of New Haven, MO, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at his home. Michael was a resident of New Haven for 32 years.
Michael was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on January 9, 1962, the son of the late Billy Gene & Mary Lawanda (Alphin) Blackwell.
He was the husband of Paula Sue (Buttery) Blackwell. They were married on January 5, 1985, in Raytown, Missouri. Paula survives at the home.
Michael is also survived by a son, Andrew Buttery, of Eureka, Missouri; a son, Donald & Jody Pierce, of Union, Missouri; a daughter, Elizabeth Blackwell & Rusty McKinney, of Villa Ridge, Missouri; a son, Michael Blackwell & Emiley Bungard, of New Haven, Missouri, a son, Cameron Blackwell & Katie Phillips, of New Haven, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Jackson, Chloe, Hailey, Alivia, Jane, Jennifer, Jasmine and James, and a brother, Tim Blackwell, of Pocahontas, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Anthony Leroy Blackwell and a sister, Patricia Virgin.
He worked 30 years in construction. He enjoyed all things outdoors, gardening, hunting and fishing.
A celebration of Life ceremony will be held Saturday, September 4th 2021 at Rennick Riverfront Park Pavilion in Washington, Missouri at 4:00 p.m.
