Obituary

Mary "Janet" Lebish, 82, of Leslie, MO, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at her home.
 
Janet was born in Kirkwood, Missouri on March 24, 1940, the daughter of the late Henry & Pauline (Pasley) Hubenthal.
 
She was the wife of Edwin Lebish. They were united in marriage on September 5, 1964, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Hudson, MO.
 
Janet was a busy mother to eight children and grandmother to fourteen grandchildren. She was a very active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Hudson, Missouri, and of St. Vincent DePaul Society.
 
She was a beautician by trade, having owned her own salon both in and out of the home. She loved baking, sewing, playing the piano, reading, babysitting, and volunteering at church. She dedicated her life to being of service to others.
 
Mary is survived by her husband, Edwin Lebish, of Leslie, Missouri; a daughter, Missy Nobel & husband Marty, of Krakow, Missouri; a son, Kirk Lebish & wife Mary; of Washington, Missouri; a son, Keith Lebish & wife Tanya, of Leslie, Missouri; a daughter, Melanie Bush & husband Pete, of New Haven, Missouri; a son, Kent Lebish & wife Janice, of Gerald, Missouri; a son, Kelvin Lebish & wife Gena; of Leslie, Missouri, a daughter, Monica Lawrence & husband Josh, of Union, Missouri; a daughter, Marla Lebish, of St. Louis, Missouri; by her grandchildren, Blake and Allie Nobel; Trevor and Gavin Lebish; Braun and Malyse Lebish; Audrey, Lydia and Peter Bush; Elaina and Maddix Lebish; Sophia Lawrence; and Brenna and Brett Lebish; three brothers, Phil Hubenthal & wife Judy, of Beaufort, Missouri; Henry Hubenthal & wife Carla, of Gerald, Missouri; and Richard Hubenthal & wife Rosie, of Beaufort, Missouri; and four sisters, Wanda Stumpe, of Japan, Missouri; Jane Mueller & husband Glenn, of Hillsboro, Illinois; Polly Blankenship & husband Harold, of Owensville, Missouri; and Ginny Blankenship & husband Russell, of Rosebud, Missouri, and many more in-laws, family, and friends.
 
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
 
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Hudson, Missouri, with Father Jim Foster officiating.
 
Burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association or Franklin County CASA.
