Marvin A. Sprick, 91, of New Haven, Missouri passed away Monday, March 16th, 2026 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri.
Marvin was born in New Haven, Missouri on September 9, 1934, a son of the late Emil & Helen (Scheer) Sprick.
Marvin proudly served his county in the US Army. He was united in marriage to Mary K. (Althage) Sprick On December 11, 1960, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington, MO. Together they shared 65 years of marriage.
Marvin was a member of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Port Hudson, he was a past president of the DHIA Association, he was always a big supporter of local FFA & 4-H programs. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and loved his life as a farmer, especially cruising the fences on his 4 wheeler.
Marvin is survived by his wife Mary of New Haven, by a son, Michael Sprick and wife Carmela Denise, of New Haven; a daughter Martha Brinker & husband Jeffrey, of New Haven; a brother Donovan Sprick & wife Ella Mae, of Valley Park, a brother Lloyd Sprick & wife Judy, Holyrood, Ks; a sister Carol Childress, of Nashville, TN; a brother, Wayne Sprick & wife Irene of Villa Ridge; a sister, Diane Giese, of Mora, Minnesota; a sister-in-law, Carol Sprick, Washington; a brother-in-law, Robert Althage & wife Kathryn of Pine, CO; he is survived by his grandchildren, Jacob Sprick and wife Shannon, Herculaneum; Marcus Brinker & wife Samantha, Albuquerque, NM; Wyatt Pohlmann, New Haven; Samantha Waldis & husband Zachary, Princeton, NC; Sophia Schulze & husband Eli, New Haven; and Caroline Pohlman, St. Louis. He Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, by a brother Earl and his wife Amelia Sprick; by a brother Glen Sprick, and two brothers-in law, Tom Giese and Rev. William Childress.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Mo. Funeral Services will be on Friday, March 20th, at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Port Hudson, Missouri, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Wilshusen officiating. Graveside Services with military honors will be held immediately following the funeral at Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery Port Hudson, Missouri. Family request donations to Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
