Marsha Maryiea (Sims) Dorrell

Marsha Maryiea Dorrell, 75, of New Haven, MO, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Marsha was born in Brookfield, MO on March 15,1948, the daughter of the late Eulice James & Dorothy (Eicher) Sims.

She married her high school sweetheart, Lynn Dorrell, on September 16, 1967, in Brookfield, MO.

Marsha worked for Enduro Binders in Washington, MO as a billing clerk for 34 years. She was a member of The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 366 in New Haven, MO.  She held several offices at the Unit and District level including President. 

Marsha is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James Sims and a sister, Dorothy Lou Lee.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Lynn Dorrell, of New Haven, MO; a daughter, Melanie (Stephen) Trentmann, of Washington, MO; a son, Shane (Nicole) Dorrell, of Camdenton, MO; a brother, Robert (Connie) Sims, of Brookfield, MO; five grandchildren, Jacob (Sarah) Trentmann; David (Ali) Trentmann; Paige Dorrell; Braeden Harmon; Mya Dorrell; two great grandchildren, Oliver Rowe and Henry Trentmann; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.   

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 15th from 11:00AM to 12:30PM at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, MO, with a memorial service at 12:30PM. A luncheon will follow at The American Legion Hall in New Haven, MO.
