Mark Steven Hartzell, Sr.

Mark Steven Hartzell, Sr., age 62, of New Haven, Missouri passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022 at his home.

Mark was born in Washington, Missouri on August 24, 1959, the son of the late Leeroy & Billie (Hall) and Hartzell.

He was the husband of Myrna (Bourbon) Hartzell.  They were united in marriage on November 2, 1985, in Union, Missouri. 

Mark was a carpenter.

Mark is survived by his wife, Myrna Hartzell, of New Haven, a daughter, Megan Lang & husband Josh; a daughter-in-law, Melanie Duvall, both of New Haven, two grandchildren, Jude Lang and Markie Hartzell, by two sisters, Cynthia Flagg & husband Wesley, of Union, Missouri and Tamie Brueggemann & husband Mike, of St. Clair, Missouri, and a brother, Paul Hartzell & wife Cindy, of Union, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Mark Hartzell, Jr. and a brother, Leeroy Hartzell, Jr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 2nd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Frank Burns officiating.

Burial will be at New Haven Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to The Mark Hartzell Memorial Scholarship.
