Marilyn A. Budnik, 80, of Hermann, Mo. passed away Saturday October 11, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO.
She was born in Hermann , MO, on February 4, 1945, the daughter of the late Walter & Helen (Hackmann) Schaefer.
Marilyn was united in marriage on April 8, 1967 to Norman Budnik at St. George Catholic Church in Hermann, who survives her at the home.
Marilyn was a sweet, caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker, a member of St. George and held various jobs in Hermann. She loved spoiling her kids and grandkids with extra gifts throughout the years. She loved having family together whenever possible and making sure they all got home safe. Mom "text us when you get to heaven".
Marilyn was blessed with three sons who all survive Jeffrey Budnik & companion Georgia Regan, of Port Charlotte, Florida, Mark Budnik & wife Susan, of Belton, Mo. and Joel Budnik & wife Patti, of Wentzville, Mo. Other survivors include one sister, Barbara Campbell, of Chilhowee, Missouri, grandchildren Lucas, Andrew, Matthew, Megan, Abby, Anna, Ally, & four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson Brock Budnik.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025 at St. George Church in Hermann, with Father Phil Niekamp officiating. Burial at the St. George Cemetery.
