Margy L. Rohlfing-Warden, 95, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025 at Villages of St. Peters, St. Peters, Missouri.
Margy was born in New Haven, Missouri on September 11, 1930, the daughter of the late John & Hazel (Quick) Shelton.
She was united in marriage to Harold Rohlfing on October 16, 1948, at the New Haven Methodist Church. Together they had four daughters, Sharyn, Denise, Kay & Jana. Harold preceded her in death on September 7, 1969.
Margy worked at several places in the food service industry, including Hermann Area District Hospital, Gasconade Co. R-2 High School, William Woods College, and McDonald's. She also helped in the family farming.
She enjoyed doing embroidery, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
Margy is survived by three daughters, Sharyn Murray & husband Jack, of St. Charles, Missouri; Denise Purschke & husband Robert, of Union, Missouri; and Kay Thompson & husband Harold, of Rhineland, Missouri; a son-in-law, Mike Gray, of Henley, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Mildred Rohlfing, of Berger, Missouri; by seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Rohlfing, a daughter, Jana Gray, a sister, Patricia Pruessner, two brothers, John & Don Shelton, and two grandchildren, Timothy & Lance Purschke.
Private graveside services will be held at St. John's Cemetery, Berger. Memorial donations may be given to the cemetery.
