Margaret “Peggy” Stockton, 94 of New Haven, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Brookdale West County, Ballwin, MO.
Peggy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 13, 1931, the daughter of the late Edward & Marian (Ogle) Gereke.
Peggy worked as a real estate agent in the Franklin County area for 30+ years. She was an avid golfer and horsewoman. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed riding and showing her Arabian horses and continued to ride well into her 80’s. Peggy also had a profound love for her dogs, most recently her beloved “Babe” and “George”.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Cindy Winters and husband Bob of Fenton, MO, Daughter-In-Law, Janey Daily, of Escondido, CA, Daughter-In-Law, Sylvia Stockton, of Wichita, KS; grandchildren Justin Dailey of Escondido, CA, Jordan (Veronica) Dailey, of Los Osos, CA, TJ (Rachel) Winters, of Houston, TX and nine great-grandchildren.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Ed Gereke, Jr, and two sons, Jay Dailey and Rick Stockton.
Per Peggy’s request, there will be no services. Memorials may be given to Franklin County Humane Society.
