Lloyd Dale Fleer

Lloyd Dale Fleer, 87, of Stony Hill, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 at New Haven Care Center.

Lloyd was born in Hermann, Missouri on October 1, 1936, the son of the late Albert William & Maudeline Alice (Weeks) Fleer.  He attended Richwood Grade School in Stony Hill and graduated from New Haven High School.

Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Army for six years.  He was in infantry and served in Hawaii.  

Lloyd was a member of St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill, Missouri.  He worked as a maintenance man for Hermann Area District Hospital for over 30 years. 

Lloyd is survived by a brother, Earl Fleer, of Stony Hill, Missouri; a sister, Jeanette McRoberts, of Union, Missouri; and many nieces & nephews.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Maudeline, a step-mother, Mildred Fleer, a half brother, George Fleer & wife Mary, a half sister, Alice Power and a brother-in-law, Guy McRoberts.

Private graveside services will be held at St. James Cemetery, Stony Hill, Missouri, with Rev. Tom Lloyd officiating. 

Memorials may be given to St. James Cemetery.
