Leona "Onie" O. (Elsenraat) Baur

Leona "Onie" O. Baur, 90, of Jefferson City, MO, formerly of Hermann, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City, Missouri. 

Onie was born in Rhineland, Missouri, on August 25, 1931, a daughter of the late Aloys & Mildred (Engelkemeyer) Elsenraat.

She was the widow of Edward L. Baur.  They were united in marriage on July 1, 1967.  Ed preceded her in death on August 18, 2017.

Onie was a member of St. George Church in Hermann.  She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and spending time at the club house with her family.

Onie is survived by a son, Michael Baur, of Jefferson City, Missouri; a daughter, Linda Owens & husband Steve, of Jefferson City, Missouri; by two sisters, Vera Carter, of New Florence, Missouri; and Anna Mae Hackmann, of Hermann, Missouri; two brothers, Ervin Elsenraat & wife Sharon, of Rhineland, Missouri; and Edward Elsenraat, of Rhineland, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Carol Elsenraat, of Hermann, Missouri, a brother-in-law, Gene Baur & wife Brenda, of Hermann, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Betty Brunner & husband Charlie, of Hermann, Missouri; by 12 grandchildren, Brittany, Erica, Caden, McKenna, Keaten, Corina, Kyren, Kelten, Cannen, Casten, Craig & Crystal, by six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Alan & Robert Kicker, two brothers, James & Leon Elsenraat, and two grandchildren, Curtis and Nicole Kicker.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 22nd from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

Funeral mass will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Church, Hermann, with Father Bill Debo officiating.  Burial will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann.
