Laurissa Mae Reynolds, 89, of Big Spring, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 at StoneBridge Hermann.
Laurissa was born in Linn, Missouri on May 20, 1933, the daughter of the late John Stephen & Wilhemina "Minnie" (Franken) Kuster.
She was united in marriage to John E. "Eddie" Reynolds on November 25, 1954, at St. George Church, Linn, MO.
Laurissa was a member of Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland, Missouri. She worked as a cook at the Big Spring Elementary School and also for Hermann Area District Hospital. She later went to work for the Blumer Funeral Home as a bookkeeper and then the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, until her retirement.
Laurissa is survived by a son, John Reynolds Jr. & wife Sharon, of Big Spring, Missouri; a daughter, Anna Lee & husband Tom, of Williamsburg, Missouri; a daughter, Joanie Pagel & husband Russ, of Rolla, Missouri; a son, Joe Reynolds & wife Carole, of Forsythe, Missouri; a son, Jim Reynolds & friend Audrey, of Big Spring, Missouri; a brother, Joe Kuster, of Jefferson City, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Ruth Marie Kuster, of Linn, Missouri; by 10 grandchildren, Michael Pagel, of Affton, Missouri; Heather Eck, of Springfield, Missouri; Kerri Lotven, of Columbia, Missouri; Tommy Lee, of Boonville, Missouri, Jenny Adams, of Rolla, Missouri; Jessica Stone, of Washington, Missouri; Ryan Reynolds, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Alyssa Reynolds, of Columbia, Missouri; Madison Reynolds, of Steedman, Missouri; and Jonathan Reynolds, of Washington, Missouri; and by 9 great grandchildren, Clara, Olive, Lucca, Laurel, Rhett, Owen, Maddy, Hannah and Ethan, and by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Mark Reynolds and by seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.
A funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Church, Starkenburg, Missouri, with Father Philip Niekamp officiating.
Burial will be at Baileys Creek Cemetery, Morrison. Memorials may be given to Baileys Creek Cemetery or Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows, Starkenburg.
