Larry Voss Obituary

Larry Richard Voss, 80, of Morrison, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico, Missouri.

Larry was born September 28, 1939, in Sunnyside, Washington, son of the late Nicholas & Emma (Lindner) Voss.

He was united in marriage to Catherine (Heberle) Voss on August 5, 1967, in Hermann, Missouri. Catherine preceded him in death on November 25, 2007.

Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1957-1960. He was owner and operator of Voss Body Shop in Gasconade, Missouri, for many years. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was an avid gardener.

Larry is survived by five sons — Mac Voss & wife Vicki, of Fenton, Missouri; Justin Voss & wife Tammi of Warrenton, Virginia; Sam Voss, of Morrison, Missouri; Ben Voss & wife Amy, of Warrenton, Missouri; and Jon Voss, of Columbia, Missouri. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two sisters, Mayme Holbrook and Betty Fitzgerald.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home, C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home. The family will hold private services at a later date.
