Larry A. Panhorst

Larry A. Panhorst, 75, of Gerald, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, Creve Coeur, Missouri. 

Larry was born in Alton, Illinois on May 13, 1947, the son of the late Harry E. & Dorothy (Vogt) Panhorst.

He was the husband of Carolyn (Treadway) Panhorst.  They were united in marriage on June 29, 1990, at Jefferson City, Missouri. 

Larry proudly served his country in the United States Marines.  He a member of River City Church, Washington, Missouri. 

Larry was a police officer for St. Charles Police Dept.  He also was a criminal investigator for the state of Missouri. 

Larry is survived by his wife, Carolyn Panhorst, of Gerald, Missouri; a son, Michael Miller & wife Jen Miller, of St. Charles, Missouri; a daughter, Patricia Marshall, of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Sue Damrell & husband Bruce, of Gerald, Missouri; and Peggy Cupkie & husband Lynn, of Minnesota; two brothers, Randy Flannigan, of Missouri; and Terry Panhorst, of Boise, Idaho and three grandchildren, Emily Marshall and Brenden and Trent Mollett.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a step mother Jean Panhorst.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 4th at 11:00 a.m. at River City Church, Washington, Missouri, with Pastor Lisa M. Tihen officiating.
