Larry F. McKague

Larry F. McKague, 78, of Hermann, MO, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. 

Larry was born in Mint Hill, Missouri on June 15, 1943, the son of the late Claron & Violet (Starr) McKague.

He was the husband of Doris (McGuire) McKague.  They were united in marriage on December 27, 1965, Chamois, Missouri. 

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  Larry worked for Chrysler Automotive for many years. He was also an auctioneer and TV repairman on the side.

In his free time Larry enjoyed reading, computers, watching sports, especially the Mizzou Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals, working on his family tree and he enjoyed fishing when he was younger. 

Larry is survived by his wife, Doris McKague, of Hermann; a daughter, Sheila McGuire & husband Rusty, of Woodword, Oklahoma; a son, Laron McKague & wife Evelyn, of Hermann; a son, Wayland McKague & wife Stephanie, of Herman;, a daughter, Kimberly Horn & husband Jason, of Vandalia, Missouri; a daughter, Lindsay McKague, of Hermann, Missouri; 25 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a sister, Pat Gerloff, of Chamois, Missouri; and a brother, Joe McKague, of Linn, Missouri. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Jean Menes, a brother, Vernon McKague, Sr. and two grandchildren, Ricky Bacon and Lillian Gale.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be at Mint Hill Cemetery, Chamois, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to Mint Hill Cemetery. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
