Kenneth M. Wilding, 69, of New Haven, MO, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at New Haven Care Center.
Kenneth was born in Hermann, Missouri on March 29, 1952, the son of the late Maynard "Mickey" & Lorraine Ella (Noedel) Wilding.
He was the husband of Janet (Davis) Wilding. They were united in marriage on August 31, 1974, at St. Peters United Church of Christ, New Haven.
Kenneth worked at Zero Manufacturing for many years. He later went to work for Washington Metal Fabrication, where he worked until his retirement.
Kenneth was a member of the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department and New Haven-Berger Fire Protection District for 46 years, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1328, Hermann, where he served as the State President from 2019-2020.
Kenneth enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball, collecting Avon bottles, going to drag racing events, going to car shows and he was an Elvis fan.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Janet Wilding, of the home; a daughter, Stacy Dooley & husband Bob, of New Haven, Missouri; a son, Mickey Wilding & wife Erica, of Washington, Missouri; a daughter, Penny Dewrock & husband Darin, of New Haven, Missouri; by six grandchildren, Kenneth "D.J'" Wilding, Danyelle Wilding, Keerstin Mason, Duncan Wilding, Bo Dooley and Cole Ryan; by two great grandchildren, Brycen Pritchard and Zeke Dooley; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Jenkins, of Rosebud, Missouri; and Karen Rippeto, of New Haven, Missouri; and a brother-in-law, Alan Davis & wife Dena, of Joplin, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, and two brothers-in-law, David Jenkins Sr. and Earl Rippeto.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 28th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Bill Verman officiating.
Burial will be at New Haven Cemetery. Memorials may be given to F.O.E. Childrens Fund or New Haven-Berger Fire Protection District. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
