Kenneth A. Fricke, 86, of Belle, MO, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at his home.
Kenneth was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 25, 1937, the son of the late Erwin & Ruth (Kientzle) Fricke.
He was united in marriage to Diann Smith on June 25, 1991, on their farm in Belle, Missouri. Together they shared over 30 years of marriage, until Diann preceded him in death on June 13, 2023.
Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
He worked as a teletype repair man for Southwestern Bell and then later AT&T. In his free time he enjoyed farming, working on the farm and with his cattle. He liked doing things the old fashion way. He also enjoyed making wine and beer, gardening, canning and barbecuing.
Kenneth is survived by a daughter, Conni Dunham & husband Scott, of Las Vegas, Nevada; a son, Mark Fricke & wife Paulette, of Belle, Missouri; a sister, Ruth Ann Bohn & husband Joe, of Cottleville, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son Bill Fricke, a daughter Jeanette Schwartz and an infant son, John Michael Fricke.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 3rd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be at St. George Cemetery, Hermann, Missouri. Memorials may be given to Compassus Hospice.
