Kathleen "Katsie" F. (Elsenrath) Carroll

Kathleen  "Katsie" F. Carroll, 84, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.

Kathleen was born in Rhineland, Missouri on September 30, 1935, the daughter of the late Hugo & Selma (Theissen) Elsenrath.

Kathleen was married to Vernon A. Schriewer on October 20, 1955.  He preceded her in death in 1969.

Kathleen was a member of St. Joachim and Ann Church, St. Charles, Missouri.  She enjoyed music and going to dances.  She honed her dancing skills at the Modoc in Rhineland, which her parents owned.  In her later years she would dance the night away to several bands that featured her son Kevin on the keyboard.  She also enjoyed working at Busch Stadium where she met a lot of new friends and served a lot of people from Hermann.  

Kathleen never met a stranger, she enjoyed being with people and had many friends.  She was very proud of her two sons, Todd and Kevin.  She also loved many cats that she had during her life.

Kathleen is survived by two sons, Todd Schriewer & wife Mary, of St. Peters, Missouri; and Kevin Schriewer & wife Debbi, of St. Charles, Missouri, by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
