Kathleen Ann (McHenry) Skaggs

Kathleen Ann (McHenry) Skaggs, 69, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 surrounded by many loved ones, in her home.
 
Kathy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 12, 1951, the daughter of the late Alphonsus Andrew McHenry II &  Constance (Powers) Cunningham.
 
Kathy worked at Greenfield Research in Hermann and also as a caregiver in home health. Her favorite thing was being a MawMaw and spending time with her grandbabies. She was a huge football fan and loved Football Sundays. Studying and reading her Bible has long been her favorite past time. 
 
Kathy is survived by a son, Jason McHenry, of Marfa, Texas; a daughter, Erin Skaggs & spouse Dustin Bahr, of St. Peters, Missouri; a brother, Brian (Cathy) McHenry, of Hermann, Missouri; two sisters, Maureen (Gerry) LaConte, of Chesterfield, Missouri; and Eileen McHenry, of Hermann, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Allegra & Gavin Mayer, many nieces and nephews, and several dear friends.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Harry Cunningham, two brothers, Alphonsus "Andrew" McHenry III, and Cornelius McHenry.
 
A celebration of her life gathering & meal will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2020 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hermann VFW Hall.  Memorial donations may be given to her beloved Ferals In Peril, Inc. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
