Kahlie Monique Bland (née Pecaut), 36, of New Haven, MO, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 in New Haven, Missouri.
Kahlie was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 26, 1989, the daughter of Perry Pecaut & Tracey (Ruwwe) Breen.
She was the wife of Ricky J. Bland Jr. They were united in marriage on September 11, 2010 in New Haven. They shared 15 years of marriage together and built a life grounded in love for their boys, creating a home filled with care, devotion, and family.
Kahlie was a devoted mother, loving wife and cherished daughter whose life was defined by her deep love for family, animals, and the everyday moments that mattered most.
Kahlie graduated from New Haven High School in New Haven, Missouri, in 2008, a place that helped shape the strong, compassionate, and caring woman she became. After high school, she took college classes while pursuing a nursing degree and worked at several medical offices and at Mercy Hospital, where her caring nature and compassion for others were evident.
Above all else, Kahlie’s heart belonged to her two beloved sons, Lucas and Oliver. Being their mom was her greatest pride and joy. She found pure happiness watching her boys play sports—cheering from the sidelines, celebrating their victories, and supporting them through every challenge. Her love for them was unwavering, unconditional, and endless.
Kahlie loved the outdoors, finding peace and happiness in nature, and she had a deep appreciation for music and live concerts, where she could truly feel the joy of the moment. She is remembered for her witty sense of humor and her beautiful smile that could instantly light up a room.
She also had an enormous love for animals, especially her dogs, who were truly members of her family. Her gentle, caring spirit extended naturally to all animals, reflecting the kindness she showed to everyone around her.
Kahlie is survived by her husband, Ricky Bland, of New Haven; their two sons, Lucas & Oliver Bland, of the home; her father, Perry Pecaut & wife Connie, of New Haven; her grandmother, Norma Pecaut, of New Haven; her aunt, Penny Ziglin & husband Ben, of New Haven; a step brother, Nicholas Mueller & wife Emily, of Washington, Missouri; her mother-in-law, Phyllis Bland, of Hermann; a brother-in-law, Phillip Bland, of Hermann, and a sister-in-law, Melissa Vardell, of Allen, TX; her niece, Evelyn Mueller; two nephews, Cade Thornton and Ryder Thornton; her cousins, Grace Ziglin, Garrett Ziglin, and Gabrielle Ziglin along with many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by her love and warmth.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Tracey (Ruwwe) Breen; her grandfathers, Phillip Pecaut and Selden Ruwwe and grandparents, Edward & Evelyn Peters.
Kahlie will be remembered for her beautiful heart, her devotion to her children, her love for animals, her laughter, witty sense of humor and the way she made others feel seen and deeply loved. Though her time on this earth was far too short, her legacy lives on through her family—especially through Lucas and Oliver, who carry her love forward every day.
Visitation & funeral services will be private. Burial will be at New Haven Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Humane Society of Franklin County.
