June E. (Hinrichs) Gleeson

June E. Gleeson, 87, of Fulton, MO, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024 at Boone Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. 

June was born in Americus, Missouri on June 17, 1937, the daughter of the late Anthony "Tony" & Rosa (Luekey) Hinrichs.

She was the widow of James Kenneth Gleeson.  They were united in marriage on May 12, 1956, at St. Martin's Church, Starkenburg.  James preceded her in death on June 26, 2018.

After marriage Jim & June lived in St. Louis for a short period.  Then they lived, farmed, and raised their family in the Rhineland area until retirement.  After retirement they moved to Fulton, Missouri.

June & Jim were long time members of St. Martin's Church at Starkenburg until moving to Fulton.  They then joined Saint Peter Church in Fulton.

June is survived by her four children, Randy Gleeson & wife Kelly, of Fulton; Julaine Grimpo & husband Rich, of Fulton; Sheryl Gleeson, of Punta Gorda, Florida; and Rose Andrews & husband Joel,  of St. Croix, USVI; a sister-in-law, Mae Hinrichs, of Rhineland, Missouri; five grandchildren, Brandon Price, Jenna Bloom & husband Nick, Kelsy Bredehoeft & husband Rhett, and Karli & Kamryn Gleeson, and three great grandchildren, Waylon, Lyndi & Bentley Bredehoeft.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, a brother, Anthony "Chris" Hinrichs and a sister, Nadine Odlum & husband Bill.

Private graveside services will be held at St. Martin's Cemetery, Starkenburg.  Memorial donations may be given to Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer.
